The aim of this research is to modify the heating system of the ITL.01.TL.01
machine used in the cutting process of inner liners. The variation in inner liner
length, ranging from 73 to 78 meters, results from manual cutting using scissors
due to damage to the existing heating system. This inconsistency in inner liner
length causes issues with production efficiency and consistency, necessitating
modifications to improve machine performance. In this research, an in-depth
analysis was conducted on the causes of damage to the heating system, as well
as the design of the necessary technical modifications. This approach involves
identifying and testing the components of the heating system and implementing
changes aimed at repairing and enhancing the performance of the ITL.01.TL.01
machine. The results of these modifications are expected to provide solutions
to the problem of inconsistent inner liner length. After the modifications, the
inner liner length was successfully standardized to 76 meters. Trials conducted
showed that the modified heating system could produce more consistent cutting
and improve the machine's operational efficiency. Therefore, this research is
expected to make a significant contribution to the related industry by providing
more reliable and efficient technical solutions and reducing reliance on manual
cutting methods.
