This research aims to analyze the design and joint strength of a tire repair tool
specifically designed for LT (Light Truck) size tires. The main focus of this study
is to ensure that the tool's design is not only efficient and functional but also
possesses adequate joint strength to withstand various operational conditions.
The study begins with the detailed design of the tool using joint calculation
principles and the SolidWorks software, followed by the appropriate material
selection for each component. The joint strength calculations are carried out
through analytical methods and manual calculations to ensure the accuracy of
the results. Various types of joints, including bolts, welding, and adhesives, are
evaluated to determine the best options in terms of strength and durability.
Experimental testing is also conducted to validate the results and ensure the
tool's performance in real-world situations. The findings of this research
provide in-depth insights into the optimal design and joint strength required for
the LT size tire repair tool and offer practical recommendations for the
development of more reliable and safe tools. Consequently, this research is
expected to contribute to the improvement of efficiency and safety in the tire
repair process for vehicles using LT size tires.
