Abstract

The Laboratory Department is a department whose function is to carry out tests
on materials or ingredients used in product of manufacture and product testing
(finished products). Tire Architecture is one of the sub-departments of the QA
Laboratory which is tasked with supervising the quality of the final product.
Based on this, this research will design and build a cutting machine to increase
the efficiency and effectiveness of sample cutting. This design is useful for
changing the previous manual cutting process and the absence of a work
station, and replacing it by utilizing automation, namely a table with a work
station adapted to the needs of workers who have a rotating diameter blade
powered by a 3-phase motor. Through this design sample cutting work can be
more efficient, effective and safer for workers
