PERANCANGAN ALAT SAMPLING HOTMEAL PADA CYCLONE 5 DI AREA PREHEATER DENGAN METODE ANTROPOMETRI

Abstract

The better the quality of cement products, the higher customer satisfaction,
therefore it is important to check the materials that will be processed into
cement, including in the preheater area. In the preheater area there is a
cyclone in which there is material that will be checked in the lab whether the
material meets predetermined standards or not. Inside this cyclone it has a
temperature of ±600°C, where this temperature is very hot and dangerous,
especially for operators who will take samples in this area.
To reduce the risk of harm to operators who take samples in this preheater
area, researchers took the initiative to design a tool that is more safety and to
make it easier for operators to take samples in a cyclone. This tool will be
designed with an ergonomics approach, namely the anthropometric method
and for the design of the tool will be designed with the solidworks application
