RANCANG BANGUN MODIFIKASI PENAMBAHAN SLIDING VALVE PADA TANGKI BIGBAG MESIN CF01

Abstrak

The carbon feeding machine is a machine in the MCG mixing department which
functions to supply carbon to the daybin tank for each mixing machine. In the
MCG mixing department there are 5 carbon machines used for the production
process. One of them is the CF01 engine which supplies carbon to 4 engines,
namely MCG 1, MCG 2, MCG 3, and MCG 17. With the dense production
carried out by the CF01 engine, there is still damage, namely in the form of a
damaged rotary feeder which results in having to drain the carbon before
carrying out time-consuming repairs. Related to this, the authors made
modifications to the CF01 engine by adding a sliding valve to hold the carbon
in the bigbag tank so that the carbon in it can be retained and able to reduce
downtime due to the draining process. This modified design was made using
solidworks software and used calculations to determine the strength, stress, and
load of each component
